Friday Night Live

We will host our first-ever Friday Night Live initiative, an after-hours, all-night open gym for young men ages 13-18, on Friday, June 2nd at our JaxPAL Northside Center.

The Friday Night Live initiative will bring together male law enforcement officers and other positive adult male role models with young men for a night filled with basketball games and skills contest, video games, chess and other strategy games, food and fun. Our Northside Center will be open from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. the next morning.

Through the Friday Night Live initiative, we will use recreation as a way to prevent crime by keeping young men off the streets during peak crime hours and by helping them foster positive relationships with male law enforcement officers.

How to Register:

Registration will be open May 9th – May 22nd or until we reach maximum capacity of 100 participants. Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis.

JaxPAL has helped me with my character, my math, my reading and vocabulary, and how to get along with people I do not like. Since being enrolled at JaxPAL, I don’t get in trouble a lot anymore. JaxPAL has helped me not get so angry at small problems and I’ve learned to cope with people.
